Many of the best things to do in Menorca are free: the coves, the lighthouses, Monte Toro, the Camí de Cavalls and Binibeca Vell have no entry fee. Talayotic sites cost between €0 and €4 depending on the season, and museums and fortresses between €4 and €9. These are the 2026 prices, checked against official sources.
Talayotic sites
The Naveta des Tudons costs €2 from May to October (free on Mondays) and Talatí de Dalt €4 from April to October; the rest of the year both are free. Torre d’en Galmés charges in high season and is free from November to Easter.

Museums, fortresses and quarries
The Museu de Menorca costs €4 (free on Sundays); La Mola fortress €8.25, at the ticket office only; and Lithica €8 online or €9 at the gate, free for under-12s.

Buses and parking
Bus L69 from Ciutadella to Macarella costs €4.60 one way and €8.40 return; bus L43 from Maó to Favàritx, €3.60. Most cove car parks are free; Cala Galdana’s is paid in season.

Free things to do
No ticket needed: the coves and beaches, the Punta Nati, Cavalleria and Artrutx lighthouses, the drive up Monte Toro, the Camí de Cavalls, the s’Albufera des Grau trails, Binibeca Vell and Ciutadella cathedral.
- Monte Toro: the road up and the sanctuary are free.
- S’Albufera des Grau: waymarked trails, free access.
- Ciutadella cathedral: free visits during opening hours.
- Son Bou: the remains of the early Christian basilica by the beach.
Eating: from market counters to lobster stew
The cheapest option is the counters at Maó’s Mercat des Claustre and Mercat des Peix; the most expensive, lobster stew in Fornells, which usually costs more than €60 per person.
